1.Prep your image first: Use a tool like Spritecraft or McMapArt to convert your picture to Minecraft blocks (wool/concrete work best). Make sure the size matches a 128x128 map if you’re doing a single one.
2.Build area setup: Pick a flat spot, light it well (no shadows messing up colors!), and build the blocks exactly as the blueprint shows. Work row by row so you don’t mess up.
3.Capture with the map: Use an unexpanded (level 0) map on the area. If you’re making a multi-map piece, repeat this for each section and hang them on item frames to line it up.
